It’s that time of year when I am moved to log some hammock time, especially now that jasmine are blooming. It’s amazing how difficult it can be for me to take time out and just relax.  I am reminded when teaching a yoga class that, for some, the biggest challenge comes during final relaxation, savasana, where we are invited to stretch out on mats or sit comfortably in chairs with eyes closed and our attention on the body and the breath.  Yet this portion of the class is the culmination of all that that was done before; the stretching, reaching, strengthening, and balancing which brings us to this place of healing; healing our bodies and our souls.
